NOTICE:   REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Mayor and the Council Board of the City of Earlville, LaSalle County, Illinois, that sealed proposals will be received for the following:

MUNICIPAL SOLID, RECYCLING, LANDSCAPE WASTE, AND ELECTRONIC WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL SERVICE PROGRAM

The City of Earlville, LaSalle County, Illinois is seeking comprehensive proposals for the collection and disposal of municipal solid waste, recyclable materials, landscape waste, and electronic waste.  The initial contract shall be for three (3) to five (5) years, effective start date of August 1, 2026.

All Sealed proposals must be received no later than 3:30 p.m., on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the City Clerk’s office, located at 210 W. Railroad Street, Earlville, IL 60518.  All proposals must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “Residential Refuse RFP”.  Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud during the City Council Meeting at 7:00 p.m. on the same day.  The City of Earlville reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding, to reject any and all proposals, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the City.
